Working Student (all genders) at the FS-UNEP Collaborating Centre

The Frankfurt School-UNEP Collaborating Centre for Sustainable Finance is embedded in Frankfurt School’s International Advisory Services (IAS). Our services include capacity building (including technical assistance and training), research and policy advice for private and public sector actors.

We are currently looking for a working student to support our work, specifically with a view on sustainable finance (including climate mitigation and adaptation finance, circular economy finance, nature-positive finance, etc.), for up to 20hrs/week.

We are offering an international, diverse, and vibrant work environment. The working student will be fully integrated into the team and supports project acquisition and implementation.

  • Contribute to applied research and assessments in the field of sustainable finance
  • Support the preparation of knowledge events (such as webinars, workshops) and knowledge products
  • Support administrative and project management tasks
  • Bachelor or Master student, with good academic results
  • You have a finance, economics or business background – ideally with experience in sustainable practices (e.g. climate mitigation and adaptation solutions, etc.) and the financial solutions for it
  • Experience with project finance and financial modelling is an advantage
  • Experience in business consultancy is an advantage
  • Ability to set priorities and follow through on commitments
  • Creativity, innovation, and initiative to work independently with minimum supervision
  • You have very strong communication and writing skills in English and can contribute to writing reports of high quality with minimum guidance, a second language (like French or Spanish) is an advantage
  • You have advanced skills in MS Office (especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
